For many brides and grooms, they do not put too much thought into the photography aspect, other than hiring the wedding photographer. However, if you really want to have pictures you can be proud of, pictures that are going to stand out against every other wedding pictures you have seen, you need to follow our wedding photography advice.

  2. Petal Painting or Floral Art

    I was surprised by the wonderful variety of shapes and colors of petals and entire picture done from the petals. Artists creative imagination led to making complicated figures and landscapes out of the flower petals. Take a look at these photos I did in the Philadelphia Flower Show in 2011. All of the creatures shown on this site were created from individual flower petals or leaves. Some see the characters and do not appreciate how they were fashioned. Look carefully and you might recognize some of the petals or leaves that are familiar.

  3. My Backyard in Infrared Photography

    Ever seen those eerie looking photographs that look like regular black and white shots, but something just isn’t quite right? Or have you looked at Ansel Adams’ work before and wondered how he managed to capture such surreal and super contrasted photos? Welcome to the strange world of Infrared Photography.

    Infrared (IR) photography is the same as regular photography except for the fact that it doesn’t record visible light, it records invisible light in the near-infrared spectrum (as opposed to the far-infrared portion of the spectrum which only applies to thermal imaging). The rules regarding this type of photography are fairly similar to those for visible light with a few exceptions or adjustments.

  5. James A. Michener Art Museum

    In 1988, with the support of many dedicated citizens, the James A. Michener Art Museum opened as an independent, non-profit cultural institution dedicated to preserving, interpreting and exhibiting the art and cultural heritage of the Bucks County region. The Museum is named for Doylestown’s most famous son, the Pulitzer-Prize winning writer and supporter of the arts who had first dreamed of a regional art museum in the early 1960′s.
